The history of the diving center
The center has existed since 1993, created by Yves Lefebvre, following the creation of the Manta Ray Club Rangiroa in 1985.
A passionate photographer and instructor, his images have amazed divers from around the world, such as Commander Cousteau's team, who sailed to the Pacific Ocean to study the Polynesian atolls in 1987.
ikehau, thanks to its aquatic fauna and exceptional seabed, has been nicknamed:
the most fish-rich atoll in the southern islands of Polynesia.
Since then, for 30 years, Raie Manta Diving has been open every day of the year to share its passion with you. Today, the center is run by Romain and Flavia who work together to perpetuate the «raiemantaclub» spirit with strength and experience.

Romain Dorard
A diplomé d’Etat diving instructor with 13 years of experience, Romain will guide you through your dives with rigor and kindness. A passionate instructor, he strives to share his passion with everyone, regardless of age or skill level.
Flavia Flinois
Because the welcome and life at the center are essential, Flavia welcomes you and takes care of you for a dive in complete serenity. She is the one who ensures the daily and efficient operation of the center; she is your first and last contact.
Kaharani
Originally from Tikehau, with a big heart, Kaharani, nicknamed «Kalash», will show you the lagoon and the pass with great passion. He will accompany you and ensure your safety on the boat, very attentive to your needs, you are in good hands.
Sébatien
A diplômé d’Etat instructor with a DEJEPS E3 qualification, Seb will guide you in the water with zenitude, sharing his passion for the underwater world with you. His comprehensive briefings will definitely captivate you!

Smiling and attentive, Margaud ensures you are welcomed with kindness. Available, organized and professional, she speaks French, English and German, and manages your reservations for a worry-free stay.
